Summer Reading Guide

Dear Friends,

I love summer. I love everything about it. I love warm weather, shorts, and flip flops. I love sunny days and an excuse to have milkshakes as a meal. I love barbecues and not having to rush the kids out of the door every morning. Summer is my jam. I also love summer reading—light, entertaining stories that leave you feeling light and entertaining.

As it happens, I also love writing light and entertaining stories that make you chuckle or leave you feeling all warm and gooey inside. Does that sound something you’d like to read this summer? Or any time of the year, really. I don’t judge, I promise.

To help you decide, I’ve put together a little guide to the books I have available on Amazon. (That way you don’t have to read the longer more “official” blurbs. Time is precious, my friends.) On that note, here we go!

What if the last thing you imagined would happen— happened?

If you like: billionaire exes, secret loves, found family, and quirky side characters, Unlikely Events is for you.

Practicality of Dreaming has You’ve Got Mail Vibes with secret pen-pals and less than ideal first impressions.

It also has a little nod to Pride and Prejudice mixed in for fun. (My fun, but hopefully yours, too.)

Side note: This one is on a deep discount on Amazon right now!

Who doesn’t love a road trip adventure?

So much can happen in a cross-country road trip from New York to San Francisco when childhood crushes are involved. Rerouting is a friends-to-lovers romance with the best friend’s brother.

This one is near and dear to my heart.

Firefighters. Need I say more?

Okay, how about: workplace romance and forced proximity? Two of my favorite tropes in action.

Are you a fan of Bachelor?

A Time as This takes place on a reality dating show filmed at the beautiful Biltmore Estate in North Carolina. Not only is there forced proximity, but secret alliances and secret passageways.

My love of hockey spilled over into a hockey romance.

Second-chance romance and childhood first loves are the highlights in Delay of Game. And what I really love about this one, is that our main character, Harper is a fierce hockey player herself.

Happy reading! Until next time!
